Legendary Wigan journalist has penned his final column

Well-known Wigan journalist Geoff Shryhane, with a career spanning six decades, author of seven books and creator of Geoff’s Wigan World, which has occupied a page in the Wigan Observer for 40 years, regularly entertaining readers by revelling in Wigan’s rich heritage, has decided that last week’s musings are to be his last.
