A woman got her ex-boyfriend back after she signed up for a daily text service which told her exactly what to do - and now they are happily married and have a toddler. Natalie Iraola, 28, felt her partner, Diego, 32, was “the one” despite only knowing him for two months and was crushed when their relationship ended. The pair - who met through mutual friends at a house party in May 2014 - had decided to split after moving in together and finding things too intense. But Natalie was set on winning her guy back, and Googled ‘how to get your ex-boyfriend back’. She found a website which offered a text service to guide her to get her boyfriend back. Natalie got daily text messages which told her what to do and advised her to not be “desperate” and “text him emotionally.” The couple individually worked on themselves and realised they missed each other and started dating again in September 2014 - and Natalie says their reunion was down to her following the text advice. Diego proposed in April 2017 and the pair wed a month later in May. They welcomed their three-year-old daughter, Stella, in June 2019, and Natalie is “so glad” she followed the steps to get Diego back. Natalie, a HR team leader, from Miami, Florida, US, said: “It shattered my soul when we broke up and I knew in my heart that he was the one. “I Googled how to get your ex-boyfriend back and found this website called ‘How to get your ex back permanently.’ “I signed up for daily text messages to tell me what to do to achieve that. “It would tell me not to be desperate or text him emotionally. “It told me to go no contact at first and if he reached out it told me to talk about the positives in my life. “I’d want to text ‘I want to get back together’ but I waited and just told him how I was doing well at university. “It meant we each worked on ourselves and then just organically got back together. “It was meant to be.” Natalie and Diego first met in May 2014 at a house party and hit it off. “He was into Disney like me and was a family guy,” she said. “We became inseparable. “But we moved in together early on when I had no where else to live and it became really intense too quickly so we ended things.” Determined to get him back, Natalie signed up to the text service. “I’d get texts like ‘today you’re going to be strong and not text your ex,’" she said. “There was no pressure to get back together. “I didn’t want to force anything but I’d never felt anything like I felt for Diego. “We gave each other the space and would just check in with each other. “It worked because we got back together two months later and the rest is history.” Diego and Natalie moved back in together in February 2015 once they started dating again in September 2014. “I think if I hadn’t used the website I would have made it emotional and messier,” Natalie said. The couple tied the knot on 9th May 2017 - three years to the day that they first met - and have now started a family together after welcoming their first child. Natalie said: “I told Diego about it two years ago. “I wasn’t going to ever tell him but he’s locked in now. “People want there to be a magic potion to get your ex back but there is only so much we can do. “Follow your heart and if it’s meant to be it will work out.” Diego said: "I was fascinated that something like that would work. "And at the same time I’m not. Natalie is very methodical but the fact that she fell into what I would say is a gimmick is funny. "I think we have both helped each other in this relationship grow and seek our truest selves. As cliche as that sound."
