The Migrant Workers department says over 255,000 overseas Filipino workers were hired and deployed abroad in the first 100 days of the Marcos administration.
The DMW also says there are now more job opportunities for OFWs, and faster response in repatriation cases and for those who need immediate assistance.
The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, or OWWA, is an attached agency of the DMW which also looks after the plight of OFWs.
