OWWA says COA report not yet final, to explain transactions

It's now the turn of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration or OWWA to respond to Commission on Audit's findings that some of its transactions amounting to ₱1.2 million were doubtful.

These include hygiene kits, sanitary napkins and thermal scanners bought from a construction firm, and bottled water and snacks from a caterer rather than a supermarket.

OWWA says they are now in the process of explaining to COA these transactions.
