OWWA defends buying 'overpriced' hygiene products, says store exists

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration is another government agency under scrutiny for its use of funds. State auditors earlier flagged OWWA's purchase of nearly a million pesos worth of feminine hygiene products and thermal scanners, saying these were overpriced and that the store could not be located. But OWWA now says the construction and trading business exists and only transferred its address to Pasay City.
