The next ‘Yakuza’ title will be set years after ‘Like a Dragon’

After taking the Western market by storm thanks to the likes of the ‘Kiwami’ titles and ‘Yakuza: Like a Dragon’ which added a turn-based RPG theme to the standard beat-em-up RPG goodness of the ‘Yakuza’ series, it was difficult to judge which way the series would go. However, in an interview with Famitsu, it’s been revealed that the game with a working title of ‘Yakuza 8’ will be set some years after the previous title.
