00:00Well, naturally, you've talked a lot about how the movie you guys have made wasn't planned.
00:09A guy just came and sprung it upon you and it happened. Is it a head fuck at all that
00:12everyone's giving it five stars and really, really going for it?
00:16Yeah, I mean, we did the movie. We loved the movie. We weren't ever sure that it would
00:22go beyond Belfast. It's very colloquial. It's kind of trans-parton in that way. And then
00:28we went to Sundance Festival and got the Audience Award. It's kind of similar to our music.
00:34I think people get the energy off it and get the crack. I don't think a lot of Americans
00:38know what a tout is, which I think they call a snitch. Stuff like that there, but it didn't
00:44stop them enjoying it.
00:45And plans for a sequel? Episode 2?
00:49Kneecap 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
00:52Electric Boogaloo.
00:54Yeah, and obviously it was loosely based on... We took some ideas from trans-parton and stuff
01:00and then we have Ervin Walsh, who wrote trans-parton, coming out and fucking saying it's the best
01:05film he's seen in fucking years. That's massive praise for us. You don't know how it's going
01:10to go and obviously it was a big risk for us doing it because we're a music band and
01:14we're doing acting jobs that we'd never done before and people were dubious if we were
01:20going to make it or not as actors, but go and see it. August 8th, it's coming out in
01:25all the cinemas.
01:26What's the next thing, August 20th in England?
01:28England, August 20th, August 9th, August 2nd in America.
