Block level self-employment camps are held

Gania: 22/12/2021 (Reporting by Manas Ranjan Das): A block level self-employment training and counseling camp was organized on Wednesday under the Deendayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana organized by Ormas Nayagarh at the Gania block office premises in Nayagarh district. The function was attended by Dasapalla MLA Ramesh Chandra Behera as the chief guest under the supervision of Zone Development Officer Shirial Shuvra Patel while Block Honorable Sheshdev Swayam, Kandhamal MP District Representative Sadashiv Mishra, Zilla Parishad member Maheshwar Maharashtra were the distinguished guests. Block Livelihoods Coordinator Ambika Prasad Mishra moderated the program, which was attended by Ormas officials.

Under the Deendayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana, unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 35 have been given vocational training to make them self-reliant through employment and self-employment in various organizations. The Ministry of Rural Development of the Government of India has launched a joint venture with the Odisha Government. "After this training, every young woman will have a unique identity in the society and will be able to become self-sufficient and self-employed in various government and private sectors," he said.

The camp has mobilized 88 educated unemployed young men and women, while all are advised to attend the job fair tomorrow. Arrangements have been made to come and go for free. Thirty-two students have been TAG with the PIA, which will be started soon, said Nodal Officer Ambika Prasad Mishra. Finally, the Chief Guest and Distinguished Guest present on the stage made the meeting a success by giving them valuable time.
