Ingredients :
For Marination :
Paneer - 300 gms
Hung Curd - 1/2 Cup
Black Pepper Powder - 1 tbsp
Green Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Cornflour - 3-4 tbsp
Oil - 3 tbsp
Salt As per Taste
Water As Per Required
For Gravy :
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Onions - 2
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
Green Chillies
Coriander Powder - 1 tbsp
Curd - 3/4 cup
Black Pepper Powder - 1 tbsp
Cumin Seed Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tbsp
Green Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tbsp
Dried Fenugreek Leaves - 1/4 tbsp
Few Stems of Coriander
Fresh Cream - 1/2 Cup
Salt As per Taste
Water As Per Required
For Garnish :
Fresh Cream
Coriander Leaves
Green Chillies
Method :
For Marination & Fry :
- Cut Paneer In Little Big Pieces and sprinkle soem salt on paneer pieces.
- In bowl add hung curd, salt as per taste, add black pepper powder and add green cardamom powder and mix it nicely
- add corn flour and sprinkle some water and mix it nicely and then add paneer pieces and coat the paneer pieces for marination.
- Now pan is medium hot and add some little oil and put marinated paneer pieces on pan for shallow fry
- Fry it till its color changes to golden brown
- Then transfer to paper towel
For Gravy Preparation :
- Add ghee, oil, sliced onions and here is the tip to cook quick sprinkle some salt and cook for 2 - 3 minutes
- And add some water, add ginger garlic paste, add chopped green chillies and saute it properly
- Add curd and continuously stir otherwise it might have curdle
- Add water and let's mix it
- Add black pepper powder, cumin seed powder, garam masala, green cardamom powder, dried fenugreek leaves and stems of coriander and mix it nicely
- Now add paneer pieces one by one and lets cook for 5-7 minutes
- Add fresh cream and mix it properly
