Surgical strikes showed India can take tough decisions: PM Modi at Red Fort

India is fighting the twin challenges of terrorism and expansionism with great courage, and does not hesitate in taking tough decisions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his Independence Day address from the ramparts of the Red Fort. PM Modi added that by conducting surgical and air strikes, the country sent out the message of 'New India'.
"Today, the world views India with a new perspective. India does not hesitate in taking tough decisions," he said.
