MANILA COVID FIELD HOSPITAL

Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso, with Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna, leads the ceremonial ground-breaking of the Manila Covid-19 field hospital at Burnham Green Rizal Park, on April 20, 2021. The event was attended by top officials from the Department of Health (DoH), National Task Force vs Covid-19, Department of Tourism (DoT), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), and the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA). The 4,402-square meter field hospital has a total of six wards with a 336-bed capacity.
