Jayson Tatum dropped 53 points vs the Timberwolves to mark his best scoring game ever and most by a Celtics player under 23, and most overall since Isaiah Thomas scored 53 vs the Wizards in the 2017 postseason. Tatum attacked the rim, picking up 16 free throws and scoring 13 straight to end the third quarter to help Boston come back down 17. His threes in the fourth forced overtime, where he and Kemba Walker scored one of the toughest Celtics wins of the season, as Tatum returns to his February, 2020 form in April.
