Kemba Walker spoke on the significance of the win against Charlotte, saying it was a great win against a team that has played well throughout the season. He acknowledged the Hornets were down a few key guys, but the Celtics came out focused and kept the energy and effort consistent throughout the whole night. Walker also spoke highly of Evan Fournier and what he brings to the table, his intelligence, his shooting ability, his involvement of teammates in the offense, and the team knew he would fit right in. Walker said Fournier's playmaking skills are valuable and that it's good to have him on the team. On the standings, Walker said the team has to come out ready to play and try their best to win, acknowledging that any team can beat another on any given night, so the team needs to come prepared. Kemba Walker says the team is just being conscious of trying to get each other open, picking each other up, and helping each other play to their strengths. On the return of Romeo Langford, Walker said it was great to have him back and he's important to the team, and praised Langford for his effort to get back on the court. Walker expressed his excitement for his return and his potential, knowing that all of Langford's hard work will pay off. Walker also spoke to the team's quick decision-making in helping the team become more effective shooting from deep.
