Scenes in the morning of March 8, 2021 as activists from women's rights group GABRIELA march on to Mendiola in Manila for this year's International Women's Day calling out the Duterte administration for the worsening issues amid the COVID-19 pandemic such as poverty, government neglect and rights violations. Amid the health protocols and restrictions imposed by policemen of the Manila Police District due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, GABRIELA's Secretary General Joms Salvador called upon demonstrators to observe physical distancing.
