Boston -- Tristan Thompson talked about his Celtics debut. Thompson started and chipped in with 12 points off the bench in the #Celtics 122-121 win over the Bucks. He discussed what he saw from Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, joining his Boston teammates for the first time and the challenge the Bucks posed. The Celtics paired him with Daniel Theis to start, "he'll pop and I'll pop ... it's effective. You saw that tonight ... big mans know how to adapt and big mans can make big plays."

"It works. A lot of people really get sucked into this small ball idea. But if you're a basketball player and you can make plays whether it's popping and shooting or popping back into a dribble handoff to get downhill. It's effective."
