When the lockdown happened earlier this year, people had no choice but to abandon their usual routines—and for many, that means not being able to go to the gym. Apart from finding online exercise videos and signing up for virtual classes, fitness enthusiasts had to buy their own equipment for their at-home workout stations. This is part of the reason why Aencille Santos decided to launch her fitness brand Manila Athletica. The brand's philosophy is that "fitness is inclusive and is a journey above all else."
