08:26to find their way back to the mine.
08:28Someone turned a marker, sending them the wrong way.
08:31Moments later, a huge man sent a giant log
08:34crashing down on them.
08:36Golly, Clutch!
08:38Dive under that log, everybody.
08:41The van didn't miss us by much.
08:43It was aimed too straight to have fallen by itself.
08:45Someone pushed it.
08:47I don't see a sign of anybody,
08:49and I still say this clearing doesn't look familiar to me.
08:51Clutch, Spinner, and Paddlefoot start back over the trail,
08:55retracing their footsteps to the last trail marker.
08:58This trail marker was turned to make us pass that clearing.
09:02Look, footprints.
09:04I should have seen them before.
09:06Must have been made by a big man.
09:08Look at the size of them.
09:10Golly, they're three times as long as mine.
09:13Let's get moving back to the mine, Spinner.

10:27take off in the plane to do their scouting from the air.
10:31Make sure all safety belts are tight.
10:33It's usually bumpy near the mountains.
10:35They're all fine, Clutch. I checked them.

10:39Watch closely for anything out of the ordinary

10:43Clutch flies high above the trees for several minutes,
10:46back and forth and around the hill,
10:48all eyes watching carefully.
10:52Well, we've looked it over pretty good from a high altitude.
10:55Now, let's get lower.
10:58Do some hedgehogging.
11:13Golly, Clutch, I can almost touch the treetops.
11:17See anything yet?
11:18No, not yet.
11:21Yes, I do.
11:23Look, down there.
11:25Car tracks, or maybe truck tracks.
11:27Good boy, Spinner.
11:29Now, get one of those paper sacks filled with flour.
11:32Throw it toward the tracks.
11:34The bag will break when it hits,
11:36and the white flour will mark the spot.

14:02Well, Nugget, we'll get you back to the mine,
14:04then Spinner and I will go find where the flower bag landed.
14:09Clutch and company start out again around the hill,
14:12looking for the spot where the flower sacked first.

14:17There it is, Spinner. That's the spot.
14:19Now, right here somewhere we'll find those tire tracks.

14:26Paddlefoot's disguised.
14:29He sniffed that flower as he walked through it.
14:33He certainly looks funny, doesn't he?
14:37But, say, we've got to find those tire tracks.

14:42Here they are, Clutch, and they're going toward the hill.
14:46They go to the hill, Spinner, and then stop.
14:49Hmm, looks as though they go right under this...

14:54I don't know. This rock is solid, all right.
14:56It weighs tons. No man could move it.
14:59Come on, let's get back to the mine.

15:16Now, let's go inside.
15:18Clutch paces off 5,002 steps,
15:21which take him almost to the back wall of the tunnel.

15:29someone has dug a tunnel from the side of the hill
15:31to meet your tunnel about here.
15:33That's solid rock. How can they get my gold out?
15:36That's what we're going to find out, Nugget.

15:42Go along this tunnel to the underground room.
15:45Then the tunnel goes on to where we are.

18:33And I set it up and got it working while you were sleeping.

18:46When I got locked jaw, I couldn't talk.
18:49Well, when you didn't talk, I thought you was mad at me.
18:53But, Nugget, I left you a note telling you I couldn't talk.

19:00Looks to me like it's been a misunderstanding all along.
19:03But I don't like the way you tried to get us with that log.

19:10I thought you were out to get Nugget.
19:12And while I was testing my biggest magnet,
19:15I got on the wrong switch and almost pulled your airplane right out of the sky.
19:20So that was it.
19:22I suppose that rock we just broke through is a sliding door run by magnets.

19:27And with the magnet, I pulled the car down here, unloaded half the gold,
19:32then put the car right back where it was.
19:35Well, I'm sure Nugget understands.
19:37And I know he'll share the gold with you.
19:39And I'll share my magnets with him.
19:42Then Myrtle won't have to work.
