The Ladies Tribal Sign Language Team, along with the multi-tribe choir, communicate the song, “Prayer for Peace (Peace Before Us),” at the Native American Market Mass at The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi, commonly known as Saint Francis Cathedral of Sante Fe, New Mexico, U.S.A. on August 18, 2012. The song was composed by David Robert Haas for the Holden Village Community, Chelan, Washington in December 1985. The words were based on a Navaho Indian prayer. The Mass in 2012 was led by the Most Reverend Michael Jarboe Sheehan, Archbishop of Santa Fe. The lyrics to the song are as follows.

Peace before us, peace behind us, peace under our feet.
Peace within us, peace over us, let all around us be peace.
Love before us, love behind us, love under our feet.
Love within us, love over us, let all around us be love.
Light before us, light behind us, light under our feet.
Light within us, light over us, let all around us be light.
Christ before us, Christ behind us, Christ under our feet.
Christ within us, Christ over us, let all around us be Christ.
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Peace before us, peace behind us, peace under our feet.
Peace within us, peace over us, let all around us be peace.
