#SheInspiresUs: Women earn livelihood by making spices in Chhattisgarh’s Balrampur

Women of a small village in Chhattisgarh’s Balrampur are earning livelihood under National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM). They are earning their livelihood by making spices, soaps, oil and other household items. These organic items are produced by these women groups and they give it for selling after packaging. A woman told ANI, “Before this, I only stayed at home and didn’t work. We are working in group to produce spices, soaps and other items. All the women are employed due to this initiative. We want to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this initiative.”
