Actor-host Vhong Navarro on Tuesday went to the Taguig Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 271 to give his testimony against the motion of Cedric Lee and Simeon Raz to be detained at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) main office in Manila. Navarro, accompanied by his lawyer Alma Mallonga, arrived at around 1:20 p.m. Lee and Raz, two of the five people charged with serious illegal detention for the mauling of Navarro last January 22, arrived before 1 p.m. They had said they do not want to be detained at the Taguig City Jail due to security reasons. Deniece Cornejo, and Lee's sister Bernice, who was among the seven people charged with grave coercion, were also present at the Taguig RTC Branch 271. ANC, May 6, 2014
