MANILA - The Bureau of Immigration on Thursday issued a lookout bulletin order for Deniece Cornejo, Cedric Lee and three others in connection with the mauling of actor/comedian Vhong Navarro. The lookout bulletin order was issued at 12 noon. It covers Cornejo, Lee, Bernice Lee, Ferdinand Guerrero and Zimmer Rance. Justice Secretary Leila de Lima said newly installed National Bureau of Immigration Director Virgilio Mendez requested for the issuance of the lookout bulletin in connection with the Navarro case. The bulletin directs all immigration officers in air and seaports in the country to be on the lookout for the possible flight of the five. Navarro earlier filed charges of serious illegal detention, serious physical injuries, grave threats, grave coercion and blackmail against Lee, Cornejo and company. Cornejo, meanwhile, has filed a rape complaint against Navarro. The DOJ under Prosecutor General Claro Arellano has already formed a panel of prosecutors to investigate the complaints filed by Navarro. Immigration Commissioner Siegfred Mison earlier said the authorities cannot prevent Lee and Cornejo from leaving the country until a court issues arrest warrants or hold departure orders against the two. Reports said Lee and Cornejo have booked flights to Singapore. However, lawyer Howard Calleja said the two have no plans to leave the country. With a report by Ina Reformina, ABS-CBN News
