Floods and landslide have affected provinces in the Cordillera Region. Even vegetable farms were not spared. ABS-CBN Baguio correspondent Ada Sibayan said thousands of kilos of vegetables in La Trinidad, Benguet can no longer be sold. After harvesting the vegetables, farmers have to travel through flooded roads to get to La Trinidad Market where they must wait their turn to get a spot and sell their produce. This is where the vegetables start to rot. Some vegetables such as cabbages are being sold for as low as 1 peso per kilogram. Traders are unable to go down to Manila because of floods.
