Learn how to make Healthy Alivachi Kheer with Chef Archana at home on Ruchkar Mejwani

Today, we are going to make Healthy recipe for post pregnancy/postpartum stage with Alivachi Kheer. Deficiency of iron is one of the prevailing problem among women in their post pregnancy/postpartum stage .Aliv(garden cress seeds) can solve that problem because they are high in iron and folic acid and has been used as a herbal medicine since ages. Perhaps, it also aids digestion , boost immunity and helps relieve lower back pain.

Aliv can be consumed in different forms, either dry roasted and used as topping or in a laddu form or as a kheer. Aliv kheer is quite appetizing and every ingredient added in the kheer has it’s own nutritional value.A bowl of power packed aliv kheer after a good afternoon nap is something you should consider.

Ingredients:
1 tbsp Ghee
1 cup Jaggery
1 cup Garden Cress Seed (soaked)
1/2 tsp Cardamom & Nutmeg Powder
1 cup Milk

Method: Let's start with putting Ghee in the Kadai and letting it Melt, once the Ghee is melted add Jaggery. Next let the Jaggery melt, once the Jaggery is melted add Garden Cress Seed (soaked) let it boil and add Cardamom & Nutmeg Powder. Next, mix it properly together, once the mixture is done turn off the flame and remove it on serving bowl. Next, add Milk into the Bowl mix it again and pour it into the glass. Your healthy Halim Kheer is ready to have.
