Ending almost two-week-long deadlock, the Aam Admi Party — born out of Anna Hazare's anti-corruption agitation — on Monday decided to form government in the national capital by taking outside support from the Congress to which the newbie handed a crushing defeat in the December 4 assembly polls.

AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal met Delhi lieutenant governor Najeeb Jung and gave a letter expressing readiness to form the government. The swearing-in ceremony will take place at Ramlila Maidan.

The party took the decision to form the government at a meeting of political affairs committee after analyzing the results of the public referendum it had carried out in the last few days on the issue.
