Tonight with Deepak Chaurasia: We will try to evolve a consensus, says Venkaiah Naidu on Prez polls

Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu confirms BJP's consensus push, says we will speak to all parties. As the countdown begins for the Presidential Polls, the opposition is struggling to get on board in putting up a joint candidate for the impending presidential election. To add to the opposition's quandary, Rahul Gandhi has now announced his plans to leave on a vacation to tend to his grandmother, leaving mother Sonia Gandhi to save the opposition's face by hastily cobbling up a consensus. The BJP, on the other hand has already formed a 3 minister committee to talk to other parties, while its Parliamentary Board will hold a meeting on June 14 to decide on that Prez candidate. With all aces in his pocket, will PM Modi play safe or pull out a surprise?
