AAP workers protest against Manish Sisodia over ticket distribution

A day after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced former Bihar minister Parveen Amanullah as its candidate from Patna Sahib constituency, cracks surfaced in the party. A group of AAP workers, led by its Patna unit secretary Vikas Anand, staged a dharna at Kargil Chowk to protest her candidature.
Taking a U-turn on what he had told on Wednesday, Vikas said the party grassroots workers were not consulted before deciding Amanullah's name. "We will not campaign for her. However, we will go to Varanasi and campaign for Arvind Kejriwal," he said.
