State government is thinking to increase State owned transport bus fare up to 15 percent instead of 18 percent which was declared and withdrawn earlier. The corporation is seriously running under the loss as fuel prices have gone beyond expectations.

ದಿನದಿಂದ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಪೆಟ್ರೋಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಡೀಸೆಲ್ ಬೆಲೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಬಸ್ ಗಳು ನಷ್ಟ ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಬಸ್ ದರವನ್ನು ಶೇ.18ರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿತ್ತು.
