Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and BJP stalwart passed away at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in the national capital on Thursday. He was 93. Vajpayee was admitted to the AIIMS in June and had been ailing for long.

మాజీ ప్రధానమంత్రి, భారతీయ జనతా పార్టీ అగ్రనేత అటల్ బిహారీ వాజపేయి(93) గురువారం కన్నుమూశారు. గత కొన్నాళ్లుగా అనారోగ్యంతో బాధపడుతున్న వాజపేయి కొన్ని రోజులుగా ఎయిమ్స్‌లో చికిత్స పొందారు. మూత్ర సంబంధ సమస్యలతో బాధపడుతున్న వాజపేయి జూన్‌ 12న ఎయిమ్స్‌లో చేరారు. వాజపేయి కిడ్నీ ఒక్కటే పనిచేస్తోంది. ఆయనకు డయాబెటిస్‌తోపాటు డిమెన్షియా ఉంది.
