Born in a family of musicians and music lovers, Neli Giorgi considers the year of 2008 the beginning of her career in music even though she has always been envolved with concerts and recitals.
In the beginning of 2009, at 19 years old, Neli Giorgi starts a career as a background vocalist in a pop band that would later on accompany singers such as Bia Bops and Alessandra Lippel.
In 2010, Neli was invited to join Ivo Mozart’s band. Ivo is a well known singer and songwritter of the web hit 'Vagalumes' that has over 60 million views on youtube. This gig has opened many doors to Neli's career such as working and recording in Midas Studios, for big producers like Rick Bonadio, Renato Patriarca and Marco Lafico as well as public appearances in several brazilian TV shows.
At 23 years old, Neli Giorgi enters the studio for the first time as a solo artist to record her first album: a 12 track album written in English called 'Strong' released in the form of two Extended Plays that show her passion for r&b, soul and funk music.
At 25 years old, Neli debuts several songs in collaboration with house music brazilian DJ Lipous. Their
songs 'Help you out' and 'Oracle' have been being played in radio stations such as Jovem Pan and Energia 97.
This year, at 26 years old, Neli Giorgi is still managing her career as a background singer for Ivo Mozart, her solo concerts in big venues as Na Mata Café and writing and recording of new album, a totally different experience and work in comparison to her first album.
This Friday November 6, Neli Giorgi will be on stage at Na Mata Café, in Sao Paulo.
