Sydney based songstress, Hannah Robinson is an indie-folk singer-songwriter, inspired by the moon and the ocean, and is making waves in the Australian music scene.
At only 18, Hannah was a shortlisted top 50 artist, in the Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition, for her debut single, “Midnight Hour”, produced by her record label, Vienna People, leading it to be premiered on online music magazine, Tone Deaf, quoting “it’s clear Robinson is set to become one of our most treasured local singer-songwriters.”
A 2014 graduate of the prestigious, Talent Development Project, Hannah has performed at notable venues including Qantas Credit Union Arena (foyer entertainment for Bon Jovi and Alt-J), Fbi Social Club, The Factory Theatre, The Powerhouse Museum, The Brass Monkey, The Basement, The Heritage Hotel Newtown Social Club, Lizotte’s Newcastle, and The Opera House, also playing a sold out headline show at Little Features, in the Sydney art hub, Hibernian House. Robinson has just been added to the Australian Marriage Equality Organisation’s, “Say Yes To Love - Vol. 1” compilation cd, with her song ‘Realistically’, including other Australian musicians such as, Jimmy Barnes, Josh Pyke, The Cat Empire, and John Butler Trio, all having songs featured on the album.
Hannah has just released her new single, Half Past Ten, which is available for free download at Triple J unearthed, and is set to release her debut EP, LUNA, on August 14th at Hibernian House. For more info visit her website.
