PRESENTED BY Emmy Mack

As a teenager, Eleanor Dunlop wanted nothing more than to be the stage-strutting force of nature that was No Doubt front-woman Gwen Stefani. But with a distinctly captivating voice and clear knack for song-writing the young Sydney artist soon started to realise she could turn heads (and ears) with her own style.

Since then, Eleanor’s smoky vocals and piano-driven songs have graced the airwaves, screens and stages of Australia and the world. The release of her 2014 self-titled EP saw the lead single ‘Disguise’ immediately added to rotation on triple j, be used as the title track for popular ABC series “Old School” and receive strong praise from the industry both nationally and internationally. In the
same year another track from the EP, ‘Waiting’, was placed in the US ABC hit show “The Fosters”.

Eleanor’s new single “Rollin’ On” sees her embrace the guitar and the sweet sounds of old school rock ‘n’ roll and was one of the first tracks of 2015 to be added to triple J rotation. Recorded again with the guidance of producer/engineer Simon Todkill (Mark Ronson, Matt Corby, Nantes, The Griswolds) these new songs explore Eleanor’s love of guitar inspired by the bands she grew up with from The Police to Blondie.

The lead single “Rollin’ On” is out now on iTunes.
