The Topix is an original musical project from Trieste (Italy) with references to South European soul, pop-jazz, black and R&B music.
The band was born in 2015 from an idea by Francesco Cainero (lyricist, composer and bassist of the band) and Matteo Brenci (guitarist and arranger), who wrote 8 original songs inspirated by artists like Jarle Bernhoft, Alain Clarke, Ole Borud, Steely Dan and others.
The other members of the band are: Riccardo Gileno (vocals), Nicole Pellicani (vocals), Marco Vattovani (drums and percussions), Manuel Figelj (keyboards).
