Clinging to music, Rui Pereira (lead vocals / guitar) moved to the beach and recorded a demo tape which would later become "TOURISTA".

Sandro Labenita (drums/chorus) dreamt that he played in a band with Rui. After bringing this up during a party they were in, Rui invited him to become part of the project.

Genko (synths/melodica/chorus/bass/piano) joined the band after remixing one of their songs, "Thais", and having shared the stage with them a couple of times playing as "i am genko".

And thus, the band was formed, a proposal regarded by some as "indie pop" and "dance rock", but that mostly, according to the band, is just fun.
