De nacionalidad Británica pero criado en la provincia de Alicante, empezó con la música desde muy joven. Aunque estudió en el conservatorio, nunca llegó a cuajar en la rama más clásica de la música, pero afortunadamente, su padre le enseñó a tocar la guitarra en casa.
Tocó en una banda durante 8 años girando por España y otros países donde aprendió la importancia y el trabajo en el escenario, escribir buenas canciones y a comunicarse con el público a través de la música.
Al cumplir los 22 años se trasladé a Madrid para hacerse un hueco en la escena musical y dar a conocer su proyecto. Sin duda el escenario es su lugar favorito, toca sin parar todas las semanas.
Sus influencias van desde John Martyn y Mumford and sons hasta John Mayer o James Bay.
Se podría decir que Dan Millson es la fusión donde confluyen un lado más rockero con el folk. Si fuese un cocktail, sería algo así como mezclar dos chupitos de Munford, uno de Bay y medio de Sheeran.
British but raised in the province of Alicante, Spain. His interest in music began at a very early age. Although he studied in the local music conservatory, he never felt comfortable with the classical side of music, and fortunately, his father taught me to play the guitar at home.
He played in a band for 8 years touring Spain and other countries where he learnt the importance of stage craft, good song writing and communicating with the audience through music.
At 22 he moved to Madrid to get into the music scene and to make his solo project known. Without a doubt the stage is his favorite place, and plays nonstop every week.
With influences ranging from John Martyn , Mumford and Sons to John Mayer and James Bay.
It could be said that Dan Millson is the fusion between rock and folk. If it was a cocktail, it would be something like mixing two shots of Munford, one of Bay and a half of Sheeran.
