Manuel Vera Tudela Wither is a songwriter from Lima, Perú, born in 1984. His music mixes differents genres like traditional peruvian music, rock n roll, but in the end you can tag his music as a warm folk pop. He has published four albums: "Evacuation", "Cusco", "Energía Libre" and "Hilo", which explore themes about nature, life, death, love, etc. Manu is an artist in constant change and learning.

In 2013, the blog "Tercer Parlante" of El Comercio, named "Cusco" as "one of the greatest revelations of recent peruvian folk music" Likewise, specialized portals such as "Rock Achorao", "Blog del Bam" consider a Manu as one of the most interesting artists of the Peruvian scene. "Flor Amarilla", single from "Cusco", was included within the English compilation "Sounds and Colors" about contemporary Peruvian music, and “Titilan” as one of the most important peruvian songs from 2017, according to Argentinean website “Indie Hoy”.

Manuel has been part of several musical projects. In his beginning, with the rock band "El Sonido del sol". Later in Cusco, he formed the duo "KUSKA", with whom he traveled through Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. In Cusco also, he joined as guitarist of the band "Chintatá", with which he played in Lima, Cusco, Brazil at the Grito Rock Festival (2016), Selvámonos Festival (2016) and Festival Descabellado (2017).

As solo performer, Manu has played in Madrid and Paris in July 2016, on Grito Rock Festival in Brazil and other performances in this country. In Cusco, he played at the ICPNAC Auditorium, the Arcoiris Festival in UKUKUS, La Esencia (which is one of the most important cultural spaces in the city).

Manu is also journalist and he´s also working on a research about peruvian guitar. He currently lives in Lima and is preparing a new EP called “Jardín”.
