Hamish Ross is a musician from the town of Newcastle, Australia.
Hamish began performing solo in late 2015, & soon fell in love with the atmosphere of being on stage. Since then he has played at multiple markets, restaurants, festivals, events and other large venues
He is determined on gaining a name for himself in his home town and abroad, playing at any venue that will take him.
Hamish incorporates various sounds & genres into his original works, with influences from names such as Ben Howard, The Paper Kites, Ed Sheeran, Matt Corby, Bon Iver and Stevie Wonder.
Hamish believes in the element of pure honest writing, and says that being vulnerable and open in your material and performance is what makes an artist
Ross is currently planning the release of his debut EP, which he recorded over 2 weeks in Redfern, Sydney.
