Marrón is a New York City-based Mexican singer, songwriter, and producer. His debut album, etc., included songs that were conceived traveling between his hometown of Acapulco and Mexico City to New York. A soft release of etc. garnered support from key tastemaker stations and digital outlets (his song “Diez Años” has millions of streams on Spotify!), and he was able to perform at SXSW 2018 and at the LAMC in New York.
Marrón has shared the stage with artists as varied as Brian Wilson, Devendra Banhart, and Bob Moses. It speaks towards the various influences that make up his unique sound.
His single “No Other Place” was released this summer and is the first single from his upcoming album.
