Filmed at the Hospital Club http://www.thehospitalclub.com/ on December 7th 2015.

Here at Cooking Vinyl we like to keep abreast of all the new developments in the music industry, particularly the really big issues that impact us all.

However, even when we think we’ve got a good handle on what’s happening changes occur so quickly in our business that it’s hard to make time to sit down and really think about the implications.

With that in mind we have decided to curate a number of panel discussions over the next few months, which we are simply calling ‘The Future of ….” sessions.

Taking place at The Hospital Club in Covent Garden on a monthly basis we are getting the smartest people we know to talk about the future of some key areas of the industry.

“The Future of …” sessions are invite only and will, we hope, provide some clear thinking and real insight into where our industry is going from experts in their respective fields.

Our second panel of this series took place on Monday December 7th.

Moderated by Music Business Worldwide Founder Tim Ingham our panel is: Martin Heath (Seed Media) Dave Bianchi (Various Management) Lucy Jordache (Marillion Management) Bruce McKenzie (Townsend Music) Cooking Vinyl director Rob Collins, Paul Barton (Pledge Music) and Sarah Slater (Ticketmaster)

How can the music business better connect with fans? And how can it develop rich rewarding relationships?

With that synergy between artists and their fans becoming ever more important what are the tips and tricks to keeping growing these relationships and keeping them active?
