Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu thanked US President Donald Trump for his decision to deny Iran certification that it is complying with the JCPOA nuclear deal, speaking in Jerusalem, Saturday.

Speaking about the nuclear deal, Netanyahu termed it as "tremendous danger for our collective future".

"President Trump just has created an opportunity to fix this bad deal, to roll back Iran's aggression and to confront its criminal support of terrorism. That is why, Israel embraces this opportunity and that is why every responsible government and person concerned about peace and security in the world should do so as well," stated Netanyahu.

On Friday, Trump said that Iran had failed to comply with the JCPOA nuclear deal, which had been agreed under the Obama administration in 2015, during a speech delivered at the White House, Washington DC, on Saturday, despite international observers disagreeing. The President stated that the deal will be referred to Congress for consultation.
