Footage filmed in Turkey's Ogulpinar village captured a Turkish military convoy parked up near the country's border with Syria. The units were filmed amid a reported Turkish deployment in the northwest Syrian province of Idlib.
The Turkish convoy, which is said to have crossed into Syria near the Bab al-Hawa border crossing, reportedly included some 30 military vehicles. The convoy then headed to Sheikh Barakat, a hilltop which oversees areas in northwestern Syria held by opposition fighters.
Ankara sent the convoy as part of a military operation following an accord it had reached with Russia and Iran to establish a de-escalation zone in northwest Syria to reduce fighting between the Syrian government and opposition groups.
