Jeppe's story, Part 17
From the Danish TV comedy-drama series, Rita (S3 E04) – Shall we meet up?
[Jeppe is not seen in S3 E03, so Part 17 skips to E04 ]
Rita misses having Jeppe around, so she invites him over for dinner. He can’t make it as David has already cooked a meal. But when they do meet, Jeppe tells Rita he’s getting a bit fed up as David never wants to go anywhere and they spend every evening at home reading or watching TV. In school, Rita speaks with her colleague Steffen about the inappropriate and potentially homophobic language in his class. She asks Jeppe to do a presentation to the class about being gay. While answering questions about how gay people keep in touch, he tells them about certain smart phone apps. When he opens Grindr on his phone, it tells him that there is someone online nearby. There’s no photo but he realises it’s got to be Steffen!
Afterwards he talks to Steffen who says he is curious to find out what it’s like to be with another man. They arrange to hook up at the school when everyone’s gone home. What they don’t know is that Hjordis and her boyfriend Uffe have also hooked up in one of the classrooms. Also that Rita and Helle, who is now head teacher, are still in the building with the after-school club.
