After a school lesson about anarchism, Jeppe decides to become a punk rocker. His mother pulls his leg saying that an anarchist, who believes in total freedom and chaos, and does whatever they want, would not have a tidy bedroom. So she helps him to mess it up a bit. But after his father ridiculed him, he realises he cares too much what other people think and decides anarchism is not for him after all.
