Duty-free exploitation of foreigners, or fraudulent refund declaration 7 billion yen
東京・秋葉原の免税店運営会社が外国人向けの消費税の免税制度を悪用したとして、約７０億円の不正な還付申告を指摘されていたことがわかった。
東京国税局から不正な還付申告を指摘されたのは、秋葉原の免税店運営会社・宝田無線電機。関係者によると、宝田無線電機は、訪日外国人向けの免税制度を悪用し、金製品を販売したように見せかけ、免税した分の消費税、約７０億円の還付を国に申告していたという。
売買に実態は無く金製品の大半は国外に出ていなかったということで、追徴税額は約１００億円にのぼるとみられる。宝田無線電機は国税不服審判所に審査請求をしているという。
