Currently, we are in the sixth generation of country music which the music lovers all around the world are relishing upon. In this generation, there is a crossover between country and pop music as pop music that has gained superb popularity in recent decades.
In order to add country feel to his drumming style, Mike learnt the art of playing the snare drum rudiments. Mike mastered the rudiments to give authentic flavor to his country drumming. Mike firmly believes that the snare drum is responsible for the feel in many country songs.
