Learn how to make delicious party starter recipe Chicken In Cheese & Mustard Sauce from our chef Smita Deo on Ruchkar Mejwani. This is a quick and easy to make Chicken starter recipe where chicken pieces are tossed in garlic, pepper, cheese and mustard sauce.
Ingredients:
1/2 kg Boneless Chicken cut into 2 inch cubes
1 tbsp Garlic paste
1 tbsp Chilli Flakes
1 tsp Pepper Powder
1 tbsp Dry Oregano
1 tbsp Sweet Basil / Regular Dry Basil
2 tbsp Mustard Paste
200 ml Cream
3/4th Cup grated cheese
2 tbsp Olive Oil
Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat a pan and add the olive oil. Once the oil is hot add the garlic paste, pepper powder, oregano, basil and the chilli flakes and saute for few seconds. See to it that the garlic does not turn brown
- Add the chicken and saute it well
- Then after 3 minutes add the mustard paste. Cover and cook till the chicken is done
- Then add the cream and the cheese and on a slow flame bring to a boil stirring continuously till the sauce is slightly thick
- Serve it hot
