Ingredients
- 2 tbsp of ghee
- 1 tbsp of Ginger
- 3- 4 bay leaves
- 2-3 Cinnamon Sticks
- 8-9 cloves
- 10 black pepper
- 4 green chillies
- 2 tbsp of cumin seeds
- 3 chopped onions
- salt to taste
- 3 cups of water
- 2.5 cup of rice soaked in water
- few coriander leaves
Method
- Turn on the flame and add ghee once it is heated add ginger, bay leaves,cinnamon Sticks, cloves, black pepper, green chillies, cumin seeds and cook it well
- Add onions and stir it for a while.
- Add salt, water and once the water boils add rice (soaked in water for 15 minutes)
- Check if the rice is cooked and add more water and let it cook for more 10 minutes.
- Jeera rice is ready to be served.
- Add coriander to garnish it.
