Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup or 300gms of soaked rice
- inch piece of cinnamon
- 2 cloves
- seeds of 2 green cardamom pods
- ½ tsp of pepper cons
- 4tbsp of Ghee
- 2 tbsp of cashew
- 2 tbsp of raisins
- 1 Bay leaf
- 2-3 star anise
- 3-4 cloves
- inch piece of cinnamon
- ½ tsp of pepper cons
- couple of green cardamom pods
- 2tsp of ginger green chilli paste
- 2 ½ cup or 625gm of water
- 2 tsp of salt
Method:
- Soak the rice in water
- Ground together cinnamon, cloves, seeds of green cardamom pods and pepper cons
- In a pan add ghee and roast cashew nuts and keep aside
- Then add some raisins roast them and keep aside
- In the same pan add Bay leaf, star anise, cloves, cinnamon, pepper cons, cardamom pods the grounded spices and ginger chilli paste.
- Add the soaked rice and mix well now add water and salt and let it cook for 12-15 minutes.
