Asian Civilizations Museum

The Asian Civilizations Museum, abbreviated to ACM, is one of the national museums in Singapore. It is the one of its kind museum in Asia, showcasing an integrated spectrum of pan-Asian civilizations and cultures. This museum comes under the National Heritage Board of Singapore.

The cultural treasure-troves of the museum are spread across two buildings, which are of walking distance from each other. The first building is at the Empress Place and called as Empress Place Building. The second building is at the Armenian Street, which is called old Tao Nan School. It takes around fifteen minutes to walk from one building to the other. The building of Empress Place has around eleven galleries that showcase more than 1300 artifacts.
