How are economic policy decisions being made and how they will affect us for generations to come? Asli Karahan-Ay says women in particular need to ask these questions and make their voices heard on issues of economic policy. Karahan-Ay pulls examples from history to demonstrate the unintended consequences of policymaking and why women have a role to play in making sure the best solutions come into being.

Asli Karahan-Ay previously worked for companies such as UBS, Schlumberger International, and Procter & Gamble. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School and is currently the Managing Partner of US Policy Metrics.
