Frustrated with both the art and business industries early on in her career, Lexy Funk decided it was time to blend her interests and build her own brand. This led to Brooklyn Industries, a fast fashion retailer dedicated to organically up-cycling real art into retail. She hopes that through creative retail we can infuse art into our daily lives, and therefore liberate us from the ordinary.

Lexy Funk is the CEO of Brooklyn Industries, a business that she has grown since 1998 into a retail company with 15 stores in three states and a successful e-commerce website.
